DODGE CITY, Kan. (KAKE) - More than four inches of rain in a short period of time damaged the roof of the Cargill beef plant in Dodge City causing it to partially collapse.

Cargill said no one was hurt due to the collapse and all of their processed beef in their coolers and the distribution center was unharmed by the rain. They will be shipping their product out to customers this week and are working with structural engineers to repair the roof and resume operations as soon as they can.
