BEL AIRE, Kan. (KAKE) - Around 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Bel Aire police say that Cummings has been found and returned to his home Saturday morning.

Cummings was evaluated by Sedgwick County EMS, and was released to family members. The Silver Alert for Cummings has been canceled.

The Bel Aire Police Department says they have issued a Silver Alert for missing 68-year-old Darrell Cummings. 

The police department says Mr. Cummings suffers from what had been described as a mild to moderate cognitive disorder affecting decision-making, as well as short-term memory loss. He may appear confused, dazed, or disoriented.

He was last seen at his residence in the 5700 block of N Lycee St, Bel Aire, Kansas 67226, on June 20, 2024, around 8:00 pm.

Mr. Cummings was last seen wearing a light blue shirt, and grey shorts. Mr. Cummings is a 68-year-old white male, who is around 5’7” tall, weighing around 170lbs, and is balding with blue eyes. If you have seen Mr. Cummings, you are asked to call 911.
