ROSE HILL, Kan. (KAKE) - The Butler County Sheriff's Office has identified the three people killed in a house fire in Rose Hill early Saturday morning.

Butler County Undersheriff Daimon Cundiff of Wednesday identified the victims as 80-year-old Paula, 55-year-old Phillip Williams and 52-year-old Melissa Williams.

The call came in at around 3 a.m. Saturday from a home in the 15400 block of Southwest County Line Road. Cundiff said a panicked was woman on an open 911 line. While law enforcement was responding, 911 received a second call from another woman at the same residence who said she couldn't see anything and the house was filling with smoke.

Law enforcement found the home fully engulfed in flames as they attempted to locate residents. Responding fire personnel found Paula inside. She was in critical condition and later died at a local hospital. The two other victims, Phillip and Melissa, were found dead in the home after the fire had been extinguished. 

The three victims lived at the home.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
