A Salina father says his 15-year-old daughter, Karissa Covert, has been found safe in Lincoln, Nebraska, two weeks after she was reported missing.

CFSI Nebraska confirmed in a Facebook post Monday night that Karissa was found safe.

"Thank you for all the help and support and helping bring my little girl home safe," Karissa's dad said. 


A 15-year-old Kansas girl who has been missing for nearly two weeks has reportedly been spotted in Nebraska.

Karissa Covert, of Salina, was last spotted Thursday in Lincoln, according to CDFI Nebraska. Before that, she was last seen Tuesday, December 10 at Salina Central High School. Her father says she is in need of her medication.

Covert stands 5-foot-6, weighs 130 pounds and has dark brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information is asked to call Salina police at (785) 826-7210.

A Kansas father is asking for the community's help in finding his 15-year-old daughter who has been missing since Tuesday and is in need of medication.

Karissa Covert, of Salina, was last seen Tuesday afternoon at Salina Central High School. She stands 5-foot-6, weighs 130 pounds and has dark brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black Vans, black leggings and an oversized light gray Nike hoodie with green print. 

Karissa's dad said on Facebook that his family has exhausted all leads on her whereabouts. He added that his daughter has not had her daily medication since Tuesday.
