A well known Wichita lawyer and a computer software engineer have been indicted in a cyberattack on websites that posted critical comments on the lawyer's work.

Pistotnik, 62, and Dorsett, 36, were co-founders of a company called VIRAL Artificial Intelligence.

The indictment alleges Pistotnik also made false statements when questioned by a FBI agent.

If found guilty, the defendants face up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine on each count of computer fraud, and up to ten years and a fine of $250,000 on each count of conspiracy.
